Healthier Olive Tapenade

Olive tapenade

1 cup kalamata olives packed in water

1/2 of the jar of kalamata brine

3 oz. Fat Free Feta cheese

Fresh organic basil, approximately two handfuls

Salt

Pepper

Substituting the brine for the oil cuts down on the fat content.  However, to retain the health benefits of olive oil, I often cut back on the brine and add a tbsp of olive oil. Combine all ingredients and blend thoroughly.  The longer you let this mixture sit, the better it tastes.
